<h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>The RMA Assembler I is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair, assembly, testing, and diagnostics of electronic equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are repaired, reassembled, and tested according to Watchguard’s high standards and will support multiple product lines as a cross-trained team member.</p>

<h4>Key Responsibilities</h4>
<p><strong>Repair Technician</strong></p>
<ul>
</p>
<li>Change out components such as boards.<br />
</p>
<li>Reassemble products in preparation for testing.<br />
</p>
<li>Work from oral or written instructions, including mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.<br />
</p>
<li>Utilize hand tools and calibrated torque drivers.
</ul>
<p><strong>Product Tester</strong></p>
<ul>
</p>
<li>Perform functional testing on repaired equipment to verify all specifications are met.
</ul>
<p><strong>Diagnostic Technician</strong></p>
<ul>
</p>
<li>Troubleshoot and identify failed components requiring repair.
</ul>

<h4><strong>Minimum & Experience Requirements</strong></h4>
<ul>
</p>
<li>2-5 years minimum experience in mechanical assembly (preferably in electronics assembly).<br />
</p>
<li>Skilled with a variety of hand and battery-powered tools.<br />
</p>
<li>Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and work instructions (all instructions in English).<br />
</p>
<li>Cross-trainable and adaptable to multiple processes and product lines.<br />
</p>
<li>Able to work independently with limited supervision.<br />
</p>
<li>Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet production deadlines.<br />
</p>
<li>Demonstrates reliable, repeatable high-quality workmanship.<br />
</p>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.<br />
</p>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br />
</p>
<li>Good moral character fitting with Watchguard company culture.<br />
</p>
<li>Experience working in electronics manufacturing and team-oriented environments.<br />
</p>
<li>Knowledge and experience with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety.<br />
</p>
<li>Prior solder experience is a plus.
</ul>
<h4>Education</h4>

<li>High school diploma or GED required upon permanent hire.
</ul>
